Gilbert Pool Removal
Old pools broken out, filled and compacted so the yard is usable again.
Some pools aren't worth saving. The kids have moved out, the pool sits green most of the year, or the repair list costs more than the pool is worth to you. Pool removal gives you the yard back.
The work follows a set order. We drain the pool, break out the bond beam and coping, punch drain holes in the floor, then backfill with clean fill in layers and compact each one.
Arizona law requires contacting Arizona 811 before digging, and we request locates before any removal starts. Pool plumbing, gas and electrical lines are capped or removed at the source.

The bond beam and coping are broken up and the shell opened for drainage.

Clean fill spread into the cavity in measured layers.

Each layer compacted so the ground doesn't settle later.

Turf, gravel, a patio or a play area where the pool was.

Requirements depend on the scope and your lot. We confirm with the Town before work starts and handle any paperwork it asks for.
That's your call. Once the pool is gone, many owners keep the yard wall and remove interior pool fencing. We discuss it during the estimate.
Not if it's filled and compacted in layers. Settling usually comes from dumping fill in all at once, which we don't do.
Many Gilbert HOAs review backyard changes, especially if equipment or access routes change. Check your guidelines, and we'll give you the details to submit.
Tell us about the pool and what you want in its place. We'll look at access and send a written plan.
