Town of Gilbert Pool Rules

The Town of Gilbert's pool barrier policy, which quotes its Land Development Code, calls for an enclosure not less than 5 feet nor more than 6 feet in height. Gates have to be self-closing and self-latching, and openings can't let a 4-inch sphere pass through. The Town says it's each pool owner's responsibility to provide and maintain a compliant pool fence, so we check yours while we're on site.

For pool and spa permits, the Town of Gilbert's residential checklist asks for a site plan showing the pool or spa, the equipment location and the electrical and gas diagrams, plus structural plans or a letter authorizing a standard plan on file with the Town. When your scope reaches that point, we prepare those documents and confirm the requirements with the Town before work starts.
